Current Paid Leave Bank based on completed years of service from 20 days at 1 year to 35 days per year for employees with 25+ years of service; Extended Leave Bank for serious conditions; 10 paid holidays per year

Health Care Reimbursement: Pre-tax dollars set aside by the employee to pay approved expenses related to health care, e.g., prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, glasses, contacts, doctor co-pays, surgery expense not covered under Insurance, etc.

If the employee is approved as disabled, the employee receives monthly disability payments based on income at the time of the disability; the disability decision is reviewed and must be recertified annually
Defined dollar benefit, funded solely by the Company, based on years of service and earnings at retirement; vested after 5 years; early retirement as early as age 55 with at least 10 years of service; lump sum option available
Surviving spouse receives 50% of vested employee’s pension benefit calculated at time of death; spouse begins receiving benefit if employee is at retirement age (55) at the time of death, or at the time the employee would have reached age 55
Pays 75% for books, tuition and fees for approved courses, related to the Company’s business, completed with a grade of C or better, or a Pass in a Pass/Fail grading system
Company pays $200 per year toward the fee for an employee to participate at an approved Fitness facility
Employees receive a service award (gift certificate for $10 per completed year of service) at intervals of every 5 years of completed service
Energen awards scholarships every year to 5 Energen sons or daughters, based on selection by an outside college scholarship vendor
Energen matches 100% for employee and retiree contributions of $25 or more to approved charitable organizations, up to a maximum of $15,000 per year per employee |
