D. Paul Sparks
Senior Vice President Operations

Paul Sparks has been employed by the Company in various capacities since 1989. He was named to his current position of Senior Vice President - Operations in 2006. Paul served as Vice President - Operations and Exploitation from 1998 - 2006. Prior to joining Energen Resources Corporation, he worked with Amoco Production Company. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, New Mexico Oil and Gas Association, Sunrise Rotary and the Downtown Exchange Club . Paul is a 1984 graduate of Mississippi State University and is a Bagley College of Engineering Distinguished Fellow.
